A shared dock gives full access to this serene no wake cove for swimming, paddleboarding, and docking your boat, so you can enjoy all the lake has to offer.
Our pet friendly atmosphere allows you to enjoy this setting without having to leave your canine family members behind.
Within a 30 minute drive, Smith Mountain Lake offers access to horseback riding, golf, hiking trails, and wineries. The nearby state park includes a small beach for younger visitors. This is Virginia's most popular lake and is a fisherman's paradise, with over 500 miles of shoreline on this 40-mile long, 20,000 acre lake stocked with bass, muskies, northern pike and panfish.
High-speed internet allows for viewing movies and shows from your own streaming accounts and the occasional remote work if absolutely necessary.

Summary: This cabin had everything I could ask for and more. We are a family of four and two docs. We loved our time at the cabin. I brought enough food for our weekend and found the kitchen to be well and nicely equipped. I was able to cook all of our meals without issue. Our children loved the dock and we all enjoyed the deck. It was lovely playing board games in the evening and we rented a boat from parkway Marina and had a lovely time out on the lake. I've never boated before but found it to be pretty easy to navigate. I've never spent much time at a lake but this trip has made me a convert. We will be back!

Summary: Cabin was exactly as described! It was nice and updated. The views are amazing and the lake is so clean!! The dock is safe and there’s all new railings down to the dock. We went to two local winery’s and highly recommend Fables & Feathers Winery!! Also we didn’t bring our dogs this trip but when they say dog friendly they mean it - they had extra poop bags, extra dog bowls, dog treats, and extra leashes. We will 100% be back with our pups!
